What You’ll Learn:
The early childhood classroom environment is one of the most powerful tools a teacher has. This course explores how to intentionally design and manage physical and emotional spaces that reduce anxiety and spark curiosity in young learners.
A well-designed early childhood classroom environment does more than look inviting — it actively supports regulation, sensory needs, and emotional safety. Throughout this course, you will learn how to let your room do the heavy lifting of classroom management for you. As a result, both you and your students will feel calmer and more focused every day.
This course is designed for preschool and childcare educators across North Carolina. In addition, it counts toward NC professional development credits through the Division of Child Development. Explore all our early childhood training courses to find the right fit for you.
