Early Childhood Training Courses – Coming Spring 2026!
Welcome to Your Journey Toward Attunement
Attuned’s early childhood training courses are designed for preschool and childcare educators across North Carolina. Each course focuses on the emotional foundations of great teaching – relationships, communication, and environment. As a result, you’ll earn NC professional development credits through the Division of Child Development while building skills that make a real difference in your classroom.
Environment: The Third Teacher
Transform your physical space into a powerhouse of regulation. This course moves beyond basic classroom setup to help you design an environment that actively reduces stress, supports sensory needs, and signals safety to every student. Learn how to let your room do the heavy lifting of classroom management for you.
Communication: The Language of Connection
Words have the power to either build walls or bridges. In this course, you’ll master ‘attuned communication’, the art of responding to challenging behaviors with scripts and strategies that de-escalate tension and preserve dignity. Move from reactive ‘discipline’ to proactive, magnetic messages that reach even the hardest-to-reach students.
Relationships: The Foundation of Learning
Nothing of substance happens in a classroom without a secure attachment. This course dives into the science of human connection, teaching you how to build a ‘circle of attunement’ between yourself, your students, and their families. Discover how to become the regulated, consistent anchor that allows your students to stop surviving and start thriving.

We move beyond specific curriculum models to focus on what matters most:
- Sensitivity to individual developmental levels.
- Responsiveness to emotional well-being.
- Partnership with families to create a holistic support system.
