General FAQ’s
How long does each course take to complete?
Each course consists of 4 modules. While you can move at your own pace, most educators find that dedicating 1–2 hours per module (including reflection activities) allows for the best integration of the material.
Is this course self-paced?
Yes. You will have lifetime access to the course materials, allowing you to revisit the videos and resources whenever you need a “tune-up” during the school year.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Absolutely. Upon finishing all 4 modules you will be issued a certificate from Attuned Educators that can be used for professional development hours (check with your specific district for approval).
Do I need any special software?
No. All course materials are hosted directly on our website. You just need a stable internet connection and a device (laptop, tablet, or phone) to access the videos and course materials.
NC Licensing & Professional Development FAQ
Do Attuned courses count toward my annual NC DCDEE training hours?
Yes. Our modules are designed to provide Contact Hour Credits (CHCs) that meet the annual in-service training requirements set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE). Upon completion, you will receive a certificate to keep in your professional development file for licensing consultants to review.
